Japanese bodybuilder Hidetada Yamagishi is making a comeback!

When we informed you on our website that the IFBB Jim Manion Professional League's Masters Olympia competition is returning to the IFBB calendar, which will take place in Cluj, Romania, on August 26-27, we added that for many bodybuilders over 40 years of age, not only the total prize money of five million crowns will be a motivation, but also the fact that the winners of each category will earn qualification for the 2023 Olympia Weekend!

And perhaps it is the above that is behind the fact that Japanese bodybuilder Hidetada Yamagishi, who last wore a competition swimsuit at the 212 Olympia 2020, but had to settle for 14th place, is about to return to the competition podium.

The 2016 Arnold Classic winner of the 212-pound division then officially ended his career two years later, last year, when he said he was retired from bodybuilding.

Check out a few weeks old video posted by Hide himself on his Instagram account on April 1, complete with the words:

"I'm coming back, and no, it's not April!"
