Hidetada Yamagishi is going to conquer Olympia Weekend again!
Japanese professional bodybuilder Hidetada Yamagishi has been on the professional scene for many years, during which he has proven that he is one of the best bodybuilders on the planet!
For many years, despite his smaller stature and weight of 100 kg , he has been one of the best in the Open category. After all, the win from Europa show of Champions 2010, 9th place from Mr. Olympia 2009 and two 10th places from Mr. Olympia 2010 and 2011 speak for themselves!
From 2014 to 2017 he competed in the under 212lb division where he also did very well. In 2014 he won the Tampa Pro 212, in 2015 he fought his way to 3rd place at the Olympia 212 Showdown, and a year later he took home the Arnold Classic 212 title!
Last year, he tried again among the heavyweights, but didn't impress in any of the starts he made at the Arnold Classic (10th place), Arnold Classic Australia (5th place) and the Indy Pro (7th place) .
However, Hide hasn't hung up his competition swimsuit just yet, and he'll be putting it on this year too! His goal is to make it to Olympia Weekend again, in the 212lb division.
He should make his first start of the year in mid-June at the 2019 Europa Dallas Pro.
