Hansel after the finale revealed hell: A torn muscle, fever and a fight with the elite

The successful semi-final at EVLS was only the beginning for Jaroslav Jeníček. In a tough competition he managed to fight his way to the final, which makes his debut season in the professional division an absolutely dream debut. Now, a few days later and after his last podium appearance of the year, he shared a comprehensive and very honest assessment on his Instagram profile.

His words show not only the joy of success, but more importantly the immense humility and determination that drives him forward. In his post, he summarized with what feelings and insights he closes the season:

"I guess the question is, what am I ending this first season in the PRO division with? Well I'm ending it with the fact that once again I managed to come in 3-4 kg heavier than last year. I'm ending with the fact that I've once again verified my shortcomings and what I need to continue to work on systematically," Jeníček opens his evaluation and proves that despite the fantastic result, his feet remain firmly on the ground.

What he will remember most, however, is the experience itself and the dream of standing on the podium next to the icons of world bodybuilding.

"I end with the fact that I never imagined that I would make it to the finals in my first PRO season in both competitions. I'm done with the fact that I never imagined that I would be standing next to Dauda, Keone, Martin, Michael and other elite Olympians," he admits in amazement.

But what is perhaps most admirable is his incredible tenacity and ability to overcome obstacles that would stop many others.

"I end up saying that even if you have a torn hamstring, a bruised hand, temperatures and bronchial k.o, you can still race," he revealed of the health issues he had to deal with at the end of his preparation.

The most powerful thought, however, comes at the end of his sports evaluation and perfectly captures his champion mentality:

"Most importantly, I end with the realization that I'm only now doing bodybuilding, that I can only now call myself a bodybuilder, and that I'm only now actually starting to do this sport properly."

Just like after the semi-finals, he didn't forget the most important thing in this look back - the support of the fans and his team, to whom he sent a huge thank you. This is the end of a dream first season for Jaroslav Jeníček, which, according to his own words, is only the beginning of his journey in professional bodybuilding.
