Martin Fitzwater defeats Samson Dauda to become EVLS King!
The final night of EVLS Prague Pro 2025 brought drama that will be talked about for a long time. Although there were several favourites in the semi-finals, the key battle for the title ultimately came down to just two men. And one of the biggest favourites wasn't among them - Keone Pearson failed to live up to the huge hype that accompanied his Open debut and didn't enter the fray.
Instead, it was a battle of giants: 2024 Olympia champion and fourth man from this year's Olympia Samson Dauda and American powerhouse Martin Fitzwater. And while they didn't even get to such a direct comparison in Las Vegas, in Prague Fitzwater was able to not only keep up with his rival, but eventually surpass him.
In the end, the American athlete managed to pull off an unexpected stunt. Martin Fitzwater, in the form of his life, not only defeated Keone Pearson, but also deservedly took on Samson Dauda and became the new king of Prague!
With this triumph, Martin has secured direct qualification for Mr. Olympia 2026 and can start planning the next steps on his way to the most valuable statuette with his coach Stefan Kienzl.
