Kaltwasser is a former track and field athlete who competed in events based on running, jumping and throwing. Ashley's athletics also earned her a scholarship to college where her main event was the 400 meter hurdles. She also competed in the indoor pentathlon as well. She began training for fitness competitions in 2011 when her former high school coach introduced her to the sport. In 2011, she competed in the NPC Natural Northern USA Championships and took first place. Her first professional competition was the 2012 Houston Pro where she placed a beautiful 5th place and in 2013 she won the Toronto Pro Supershow Bikini Division! It wasn't long before she defeated former winner Nathalie Melo at the 2013 Joe Weider's Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend Bikini Olympia.

Her most recent victory that made history was at the 2022 IFBB Sasquatch Pro in the bikini fitness category, where she dominated the podium and made everyone believe that Ashley is the one who is setting the trend in the bikini fitness category in the world today. After her win, she posted a post suggesting that she is going to take some rest and go on with her training.

Today I'm taking the day off and tomorrow it's back to work with Team Elite Physique because the next competition is on September 25 and I have to bring home another one of my number one's. Here we go!

So, with that, Ashley confirms her participation in the next race, the Arnold Classic Pro 2022 in Birmingham on September 25! On behalf of the whole team, we're crossing our fingers and hoping she'll clink gold again!
