A look back at the Scitec Muscle Beach event!

SciTec Muscle Beach is a great event with a long tradition and we had the opportunity to go see the show in person this year! This event is held at the Balaton in Hungary, so there is a chance for a good swim. However, it is a sporting event and there is a lot to see! As the name suggests, this is an event hosted by Sci-Tec Nutrition, but since Sci-Tec Nutrition has teamed up with BiotechUSA, you can find both Sci-Tec sponsored athletes and BiotechUSA athletes among the people here.

For us the most famous athletes were Sergi Constance and Ulisses, with whom we had the opportunity to have a few words and we have to admit that they are both incredibly nice guys. For those who don't know these guys, Sergi Constance is under the Sci-Tec Nutrition brand and has 5.5mil followers and Ulisses is under the BiotechUSA brand and he has even 8.5mil followers. Of course, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a photo with William Bonac, who came fifth at Mr.Olympia in 2020 and even came second in the previous year , 2019!

You really have fun at this event. From the moment we got to the beach, we didn't know where to go first. Right at the beginning of the area, we were able to compete to hold five pounds of protein and win a solid prize. If you want to get pumped up and work out in front of people, no problem because there are two outdoor gyms that were constantly packed and there was a supplement tasting booth right next door, so it was a great combo, don't you think? Try out new products before your workout, then work out, and then you can immediately have a refreshing protein or BCAA from Sci-Tec Nutrition. We personally tried everything we could!

You can have a snack and with a meal or a drink in your hand you can go straight to the ongoing bodybuilding competitions in the physique and bikini fitness categories, which took place on a stage built right on the beach. These were amateur competitions, so there were a lot of young competitors and maybe even a larger part of people who went to try competitions for the first time. Or so it seemed to us. We stayed for the announcement of the men's and women's winners and then continued our sightseeing tour.

There will also be strongmen, for whom there are strongman races, where they competed in carrying suitcases and many other interesting disciplines. However, we were most interested in truck pulling, in which we also competed! The turnout of competitors was great, so it was really something to watch.

It seemed to us that most people were at the competitions for the general public, who always competed in a given exercise. Each competitor got a T-shirt and went to compete against the others. Some individuals won so many competitions that they wore as many as six medals around their necks!

The atmosphere of the whole event was great. A person who loves exercise must definitely enjoy this event. After all, you are at the Balaton, you are walking on the beach, there is a fitness guy or a fitness girl on every corner and the sun is shining down on you from above - it suggests that this is a perfect show, don't you think? If you're planning a trip to beautiful Budapest, we recommend planning a trip on a date when the SciTec Muscle Beach event is happening and you can take it in one go! There weren't many Czechs there this year, but we hope to see some of you next year and maybe there will be more of us there!
