Cutting out Linzer cookies is one of the most delightful traditions of the Advent season. To help you spend less time preparing and grinding nuts, we’ve created a crumbly dough base that contains nearly half almond flour. The dough is pliable, doesn’t tear when rolled out, and is a joy to work with.

We’ve based the recipe on gluten-free ingredients sweetened with delicate coconut sugar. All you need to do is add an egg and cold ghee. The result is a crisp cookie ready to be spread with your favorite jam or nut butter.

Instructions:

• Add about 90 g of cold ghee and 1 egg to the mixture. Knead the dough and let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper to a thickness of about 3–4 mm. Cut out individual shapes and bake at 160 °C for about 10 minutes. Note: Baking time may vary depending on the type of oven.
