Wings of Strength Tampa Pro 2021 - the winner, as expected, is Iain Valliere!
Author: On August 6 and 7, the 14th annual Wings of Strength Tampa Pro took place in Florida, where not only were the Open and Under 212 pound categories up for grabs, but of course also the qualifiers for this year's Olympia Weekend!

In the heavyweight category, there were 18 fighters in total, including our own Slavoj Bednar, who 14 back, in the form of his life, took a very respectable 10th place at Wings of Strength Chicago 2021!
The favourite of this event was someone completely different, namely Iain Valliere, who last year managed to win a great 7th place at Mr. Olympia 2020!
The above was immediately confirmed by the first semi-final comparison, to which Iain, along with the fivesome of Max Charles, Mohamed Shaaban, Charles Griffen, Phillip Clahar and Lee Seung Chul, was called.
Iain was in the middle throughout, with the pair of Charles Griffen and Phillip Clahar alternating beside him. It was the latter who was the biggest surprise of this Invocation, as he finished behind our own Slavoj Bednar in 11th place at the aforementioned Wings of Strength Chicago 2021!
There was no great sensation in the role of the winner, as it was, as expected, taken by the already mentioned Iain Valliere, whose greatest assets are a very attractive physique, massiveness, fullness and muscle shapes. At the time of the semi-final he had some problems with tightening his form, as he retained more water in his subcutaneous tissue and could not tighten his quadriceps enough. This gave his opponents some chance to beat him, but during the finals he was able to erase most of these flaws and dominate the competition quite easily!
He was able to fight his way to the Mr. Olympia competition again, where last year he won a great 7th place, and this year he would like to move even higher in the results list!
The sensation, however, was in the case of the second place, which was earned by Phillip Clahar for his excellent form! He has done the impossible since his recent start at Wings of Strength Chicago 2021, improving in every way! He was not only massive, but also hard, sharp and perfectly separated, letting his mature muscles shine through!
After missing last season, Charles Griffen returned to the podium and his form in Florida earned him a very good 3rd place. His otherwise excellent physique is hampered by a single but very noticeable deficiency, which is the absence of abdominal muscles.
Fourth place went to Max Charles. Although he races in a very good form, he was significantly behind his rivals.
Mohamed Shaaban also managed to break into the Top 5 for the fourth time in a row! This very active competitor, who in just a few weeks has made starts at the California Pro 2021 (2nd place), Wings of Strength Puerto Rico Pro 2021 (2nd place), Wings of Strength Chicago 2021 (4th place) and Wings of Strength Tampa Pro 2021, has definitely secured his qualification for this year's Mr. Olympia, dominating the qualification rankings by a wide margin!
The Czech pro Slavoj Bednar was in a similar form as he was at Wings of Strength Chicago 2021, where he took 10th place, but this time he had to settle for 16th place.

There were an impressive 25 competitors in the lighter weight class. However, the very first semifinal heats showed that only two of them would be battling for the triumph, Ahmed Wardany and Kerrith Bajjo, who recently met at Wings of Strength Chicago 2021, where Wardany took 2nd place and Bajjo finished right behind him in 3rd.
In the end, it was the latter, Kerrith Bajjo, who took the triumph. He started off much tighter here compared to his Chicago Pro performance, not only scoring his first pro win, but also his debut appearance at Olympia Weekend, where he will be one of the competitors at 212 Olympia 2021!
Second place was taken by Ahmed Wardany. However, he need not be sad at all, as he holds the 2nd position in the qualification ranking, and his qualification for 212 Olympia 2021 should not be threatened by anyone.
Third place was earned by Dectric Lewis for his full and rounded muscles from the judges. His form, however, was well short of the form he offered at last year's New York Pro, where he took the win. Otherwise, surely he too would have a say in the title fight here in Florida!
Fourth place went to John Jewett, again in very good form. With this result, he secured the unwavering first place in the qualification ranking, and thus his participation in this year's 212 Olympia is assured!
Esteban Fuquene, who is one of the gems of the current scene with his posing, still managed to break into the Top 5.
Completely out of form was Guy Cisternino, who was one of the very good competitors. His performance earned him as high as a split 16th place, the absolute worst placing of his professional career to date! As you can see, you can't stop age, and sometimes you just have to get to the end of your road.
