Wings of Strength Chicago 2022 - second professional victory for Antoine Vaillant!

On July 22-23, the next edition of the Wings of Strength Chicago professional show took place, where both main male categories of the IFBB Jim Manion Professional League, Open and up to 212 pounds, got their chance.
Through the next few paragraphs, we'll recap the highlights.

Open Category:

In the Open category, a total of fourteen fighters stood before the judges, including the runner-up of the recently held Vancouver Pro 2022, Antoine Vaillant, who of course immediately became the clear favourite to triumph!

The Canadian bodybuilder himself left nothing to chance, and despite the fact that he was recently recovering from a drug addiction and is not in the best of health, he was clearly on his way to his second professional victory in his career from his first steps on the stage!
Of all the fighters present, he was clearly in the best shape, and was one of the most symmetrical, not to mention that his posing was the highlight of the whole competition. He rightfully claimed the triumph, and with it the qualification for Mr. Olympia 2022. There, he will surely want to improve on his first start, which took place in 2020, in which he reached 14th place.

Second place was managed by Tonio Burton, who was one of the members of the under 212lb division during his debut professional season last year. This year, however, he's competing exclusively among the heavyweights, and more than adequately. In his four starts to date, he has always managed to break into the top 5!
His strengths are his upper body strength and fullness.

Third place goes to Andrea Muzi, who secured the second place in the qualification ladder for Mr. Olympia 2022.

Fourth, as was the case 14 days ago at the Mr. Big Evolution Pro 2022, was Tim Budesheim. Jonas Giatras also squeezed into the Top 5, marking his debut season among the elite.

Categories up to 212 pounds

A total of 11 representatives from the under 212 division stood before the judges, with Dectric Lewis being the clear winner from his first moments on stage. This is because he offered the absolute best combination of preparedness, symmetry and muscle separation. In addition, he has a really wasp waist and impeccable control of the abdominal muscles. He scored his second professional victory.

The second place, the best placing of his career so far, was earned by Peter Castella from the judges. He was also very well prepared, but his abdominal muscle control was slightly weaker than Dectric's. In addition, he is slightly wider in the mid-body area than his opponent.

Fabricio Moreira also managed to break into the top 3. Although he was one of the smallest fighters on the stage, he was one of the most powerful! However, his form didn't work out, otherwise he could have thought about the second place. Even so, he was satisfied with his position.

1. Dectric Lewis - qualified for 212 Olympia 2022
