Victor Richards: "I'm safe and sound!"

Not too long ago, after the sudden death of Shawn Rhoden, the world was abuzz with the news that another former bodybuilder, Victor Richards, had died. This news was subsequently denied by his daughter, who assured the world, not just the bodybuilding world, that her father was alive and well!

Dear brothers and family members, I wanted to inform you that I am well and healthy, and I have never been as healthy as I am today!

With these words, Victor himself begins a recent post on his Facebook profile.

He goes on to explain that even though he knew about the rumors circulating about his death, he had his young son with him for a week, had a full schedule of activities with him, and didn't want anything to interfere with this very important time for him!

I sincerely apologize for the pain your enemies have caused you with their venomous tongues. I didn't mean to keep you in suspense, but I had my little six year old son with me for a week, and I had planned some fun activities with him beforehand, and in no way did I want to let the demonic spirits of slander, obstruction, destruction and death disturb our peace.

We thank God that the enemy did not have the power to disturb our space and peace, and we were able to complete all of our planned activities, including going to the coast, visiting the aquarium, and attending his basketball game today. It was extremely important for our spirit and sanity to stay off social media and the phone during this time.

Victor was grateful for all the love his fans showed him.

I must also admit that I am very blessed and lucky to have such loving fans, friends and family around the world who care so deeply about me! Your love and concern have been deeply felt in my spirit, and I could not be more grateful.

May the spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless and protect you and your loves from the evil of wicked men! I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ.

Victor has also made a statement you the YouTube video portal where he reiterates much of the above.
