Trey Mitchell set a new record in Thor's Hammer - he held the 29.5kg hammer for 60.72 seconds!

The 2022 Arnold Classic also hosted the Rogue Record Breakers event, where competitors attempted to break some existing records. One of them on the agenda was "Thor's Hammer", which is being kept on time. The aforementioned hammer weighs 65lb which is around 29.5kg. The challenger to the previous record (49.24 seconds) was also Charles (Trey) Mitchell. He managed to beat the record by almost twenty seconds. He managed to hold the hammer for an incredible 60.72 seconds!

While the other challengers opted to race with wrist wraps or a waist belt for added stability, Mitchell took to holding the hammer without any assistive equipment, which you can see in the video below at 1:54:44.
