"The cause of death is unknown at this time," said Cedric McMillan's wife

Last Tuesday, one of the best current competitors Cedric McMillan left the bodybuilding world. This news came like a bolt from the blue and that is why most fans of the sport were literally horrified by this information. However, Cedric had been dealing with various illnesses for less than a year, which plagued him and made it difficult to prepare for competitions.

Although there has been a long debate on social media over what the cause of Cedric McMillan's death was, all information was and is only speculation, as Cedric's wife herself has stated that the cause of McMillan's death is not yet known.

"On behalf of the McMillan family, we want to thank you all for your love, support and beautiful tributes to my beloved husband. Thank you for respecting our privacy as our family tries to process the pain of loss. We only ask the community to remember that off stage Cedric was a husband, father, brother and son. The things we have seen in the media/online, including his cause of death, family and even where he came from, are full of incorrect information.

My husband's cause of death is unknown at this time. It did not occur on a treadmill, nor is it known to be the cause of the COVID or vaccinations he received. Please remember that if the information is not from family, it is probably not true. Thank you." Patty McMillan posted.

McMillan's death was also a big blow to one of the best bodybuilders in history, Phil Heath, who took to social media to comment at length on the event. For example, in remembering Cedric, he wrote:

Ced was usually the one who had no qualms about making jokes, so we all lightened up a bit. Seeing him compete and share the stage together was no doubt great, but I will remember his positive energy no matter what adversity he faced.

Cedric managed to win the Arnold Classic in 2017 and became one of the best bodybuilders in the world, because this show is one of the most prestigious ones that competitors can attend.
