The Arnold Classic will be held in September!

The traditional North American Arnold Sports Festival, which ranks among the most prestigious competitions for professional bodybuilders and strongmen, was the annual one that opened the entire competition season.
This year, however, due to the ongoing Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic, it will be a different story!

As recently as last year, when the pandemic was just getting underway, the Arnold Classic was held on a regular date, but in a very truncated version.

Bob Lorimer, president and co-founder of the Arnold Sports Festival, gave the first information about this year's event in an interview with local American TV station NBC4.

According to him, the event would take place in Columbus on September 25th, and only professional bodybuilders and professional strongmen would be given space at the event.
Should the situation calm down, and with it the measures in place to allow more spectators, the addition of other sports would be considered.

Like last year, the Arnold Fitness EXPO will not be held, and as Bob Lorimer himself hopes, its return will take place in 2022.

If everything stays as mentioned above, this year's Arnold Classic will take place just two weeks before the next big event, the absolute most prestigious one, the Olympia Weekend.
It is therefore safe to assume that the 2021 Arnold Classic will be the very last possible ticket to this year's Olympia.
