Olympia Weekend 2021 surprisingly already in October!
Author: This year's season of the IFBB Jim Manion Professional League hasn't started yet, and as it turns out, it won't in the next few days, yet the date has already been revealed for this year's Joe Weider Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend!
It has been very often talked about that this year's edition of this bodybuilding and fitness festival will take place, as it did last year, at the very end of the year.
However, Npcnewsonline.com reported that this year's edition will take place from October 7 to 10! The venue is to remain in Orlando, just like last year.
Many are very surprised by this information, especially since this year's Open heavyweight season is not scheduled to begin until May with a trio of Indy Pro (May 8), New York Pro (May 15) and California Pro (May 22) events.
Other competitions, such as the Arnold Classic, are still looking for a suitable date, while others, such as the Vancouver Pro, are even talking about not taking place at all this season!
Just like the Vancouver Pro organizers, with the ongoing Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic, promoters of other events may also decide, and there will not be enough events from which to qualify competitors!
Thus, many consider this early announcement of the Olympia Weekend date unfortunate, as they feel it is more than clear that it will have to be pushed back to the very end of the season!
How will it all turn out? Let's be surprised. There is nothing else to do!
