Hafthor Bjornsson will return to the scene next year!

Hafthor Bjornsson has left an indelible mark on strongman history, but as he recently revealed, he is now ready for a comeback. Hence, Hafthor's training is in full swing and he has already made some huge improvements. His power is returning much faster than anyone could have predicted, as evidenced by his recently shared 400kg (881.8lb) deadlift.

His next appearance will be at the 2024 Arnold Strongman Classic, which will be held March 1 and 2 in Columbus, Ohio. The disciplines for this competition were recently revealed and the "Elephant Bar Deadlift" was listed as one of them.

While Hafthor Bjornsson shared the 400-kilogram (881.8-pound) deadlift on Instagram, he also posted a full video of his workout on YouTube. During the video, Hafthor revealed that he's much lighter than when he last lifted in 2020. Back then, he weighed approximately 208 kilograms (458.6 pounds), while his current body weight is 176 kilograms (388 pounds). However, he won't resist putting on weight because the plan is to find a body weight at which he feels best.

Hafthor Bjornsson's plans for next year also include two more performances. After his official return, Hafthor will also take part in the Arnold Strongman Classic UK 2024 and Rogue Invitational 2024. His goals are also big, as he revealed in an interview with Brian Shaw that he is still capable of doing a lot of damage.
