Professional bodybuilder George Peterson died right at the Olympia Weekend venue!
Yesterday, October 6, one of the favorites of the 212-pound contest, George Peterson, died in Orlando, Florida, the venue of this year's Olympia Weekend!
Just two days before the semi-final fights of the 212 Olympia competition, the bodybuilding world lost one of its most prominent figures.
George, who qualified for Olympia Weekend by finishing third in last year's Olympia 212 Showdown, was found dead in his hotel room.
Current information is that coach Justin Miller has not received any answers from Gerog, who was supposed to be in the hotel room. So after some time, he decided to call security to open George's hotel room. Inside, Peterson was found with no sign of life.
After dialing 911, Miller began performing indirect cardiac massage and artificial respiration, but unfortunately to no avail.
At the time of this writing, the cause of Peterson's death was unknown, and all that is being reported at this time is speculation.

The New York native, also known as "Da Bull", was considered a bodybuilder with an incredible physique and an equally incredible journey through his bodybuilding career. He started competitive bodybuilding over 10 years ago, then took a five-year hiatus to return to the newly formed Classic Physique division, in which he managed to place a great 3rd place at the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Olympia Classic Physique competitions, and even won the 2019 Arnold Men's Classic Physique competition!
Last season he decided to make another change when he headed to the 212lb division, in addition to which he managed to win the 2020 Wings of Strength Tampa Pro competition and place 3rd in the 2020 Olympia 212 Showdown!
