Pavel Červinka and Patrik Herčzík became new professionals! EVLS Prague Amateur 2022 results

During yesterday Saturday, the EVLS Prague Amateur 2022 was held in Prague, where amateur competitors could enter. The best of the best were then able to compete for seven professional cards that were given away at the race. Competitors could enter the following categories that were announced at this competition - men's bodybuilding, men's physique, men's classic physique, women's bikini fitness, women's figure, women's wellness and women's fitness.

There were many domestic amateur competitors on the scene, which was to be expected before the competition itself. Jakub Enžl, who has been training under Czech bodybuilding legend Tomáš Bures, was to head to the EVLS Prague Amateur 2022 this year. However, Jakub withdrew a week before the competition due to health problems. He summed up his problem on social media as follows:

I have no good news. As I already mentioned on stories, I was hit quite hard by indigestion on Sunday, after which I had no food or water left in me, but I told myself that there is still plenty of time before the competition, I went on a fast and hoped that it would be fixed in 1-2 days, unfortunately it didn't happen and the same way the whole week went on. I just laid at home, had no movement, mainly replenished fluids, electrolytes and ate little things like chicken broth, a piece of bread, biscuits and some medication to go with it. I know it would be unwise to break it over my knee and go racing at all costs, so I decided to prioritize my health. I'm sorry to you too, I didn't want to let you down, you kept me going all the way and even when I had the finish line in my sights, it went to shit (literally).

Anyway, I know a lot of you have bought tickets, so I'll definitely be at EVLS at least as a spectator and mostly to see you, so don't be afraid to come by for a photo, to chat, whatever, I'll be there for you that day!

I wanted to summarize it here in a nutshell, but you can get the full version on YouTube. Thank you all for your understanding. I'll be back.

Still, Kuba showed how he was able to transform his character and we believe that if Kuba would stand on the competition podium, it would be a great event.

The best of Czech bodybuilding also gathered at the Prague amateur competition to give the audience a talk show. Jan Turek, Lukáš Osladil, Pavel Beran and new member of the EVLS team Michal Križánek took the microphone.

As we have already mentioned, many Czech competitors entered the EVLS Prague Amateur. Some of them even fought at Olympia Amateur Eastern Europe last week, but no one from our team managed to win a professional card. But let's take a look at the results in each category together.

In the wellness division Kristýna Seidlová, who together with her coach Lukas Osladil is trying to get a pro card in NPC, but she didn't succeed this time either, so she will have to try her luck next time.

In the bikini fitness category, Nicola Vachova, who made her NPC debut last week in Romania at the Olympia Amateur Eastern Europe, was the standout. However, she did better at the Prague competition, as she dominated her category. Henrieta Skupekova won the overall winner and the pro card, so Nicola, like Kristyna, will have to fight on in the amateurs.

Nicola's coach, Robert Humpál, commented on the competition as follows:

EVLs. FIRST PLACE.
Yesterday it tinkled gold and we take first place from the second competition in NPC.

We are very happy that you all cheered us on and actually because of you all we went to Evls to show our form, which we changed slightly because of the feedbacks from Olympia. In the end it paid off and we expanded our gold medal collection to 4 pieces.

What's next we don't know. We continue to do what we enjoy, which is all about fitness and racing is secondary. We'll put our heads together and see what time brings.

Ales Lamka also showed his skills in men's physique and he is also trying to get a pro card so he can get to the Olympia. But even he didn't succeed at EVLS. He wrote the following on his social networks:

Spectators came from far and wide to EVLS yesterday, made time for all of us and voluntarily endured the wait despite all the delays...

You were amazing, you cheered, you took pictures with me all day long - that's what I enjoyed the most about the whole day and gave me the only desire and strength to wait and still show a good free routine!!

Thank you all!

In the classic physique category, however, luck smiled on the Czech competitor Patrik Herčzík, who managed to win the overall victory and thus became the new Czech professional competitor, congratulations!

Vojta Koritensky, who is trying to win a professional card again, could not miss the amateur EVLS. He won his category up to 90kg, but he couldn't win the overall and so he will have to fight for the pro card.
