Patrick Moore reveals his weight limit for potential classic physique competition

Last week we informed you that bodybuilder Patrick Moore is considering a move from the open category to the classic physique division. This information came from Moore himself, who announced on his social media that he will most likely return to classic physique after his year-long hiatus. Why did Patrick make this decision, you ask? Considering the current situation in the open division, where monstrous physiques are favored over aesthetics and symmetry, it doesn't suggest a promising future for Moore. Therefore, he has decided to move into a category where symmetry and aesthetics are looked at instead.

"What if the comeback hadn't been for open......what if it had been for a classical figure? What if I cared more about my condition, lines and aesthetics than size? What if I took all that time to break down muscle and change categories? Stranger things have happened...?" wrote Patrick Moore on Instagram.

It seems that Patrick Moore already knows what weight he should start with for his potential presentation in Classic Physique. Moore apparently won't have to weigh more than 215 pounds. According to a recent Instagram story, Patrick revealed not only what weight limit he would be competing under, but how close he was to that weight limit just a few years ago. At the 2019 California Pro, he weighed just 9 pounds over the current limit.

Patrick Moore clearly has the potential to challenge Chris Bumstead and others at the top of the division.
