Oleksii Novikov set a world record in the Hummer Tire Deadlift with a 1210 lb (545kg) performance

On August 13-14, 2022, another strongman competition, the Shaw Classic 2022, hosted by the great Brian Shaw himself, was held at the Budweiser Center in Loveland, Colorado. Over the course of two days, 15 top strongmen competed in eight events, including the first Car Leg Press performance, which we covered in our article.

In addition to a great battle for first place between Brian Shaw and Trey Mitchell, Ukrainian strongman Oleksii Novikov managed to set a new world record in the Hummer Tire Deadlift with a 1210 lb (545kg) performance!

At last year's Shaw Classic, we got to see JF Caron break the Hummer Tire Deadlift world record. And that's why Brian decided to bring this event back for the 2022 Shaw Classic. So, just like last year, the athletes tried their best to deadlift and hopefully beat their competitors.

As we mentioned, Oleksiy was the one who did the best, setting his second world record this year!
