Oleksii Novikov set a new world record in the Flintstone Barbell, lifting 246kg!

During the last week, another edition of the World's Strongest Man competition took place, with the participation of Ukrainian strongman Oleksii Novikov. He has been dominating the strongman sport for some time now. In 2020, he even dominated the World's Strongest Man competition and became the strongest man in the world. In this year's event, he finished in third place, but during the Flintstone Barbell discipline he showed everyone that he really is one of the best strongmen.

During the first day of the finals, the aforementioned old-school Flintstone Barbell, which was last competed at WSM in 1995, was also on the agenda. However, during this year's event, Oleksiy managed to break the existing record and set a new one with a 246kg performance!
