Supplement Citrus Bergamot and the effect on high cholesterol
A new product in our shop is a dietary supplement called Citrus Bergamot. This particular supplement was launched by the German brand Big Zone, which has been on the Czech market for less than a year. And what kind of dietary supplement is it? What is it good to use it for and, most importantly, who is it for? This is what Robert Humpál, or Supertrener.cz, will focus on in this short article
It is important for every person to know their current lipid values - cholesterol, triglycerides, glycaemia, liver tests, kidney function values, minerals and even vitamin D, whose importance for health is unquestionable.
Cholesterol-lowering drugs have many side effects, so try to change your lifestyle first before reaching for the drugs. If you embark on weight loss, have a well-adjusted diet, include regular exercise and especially cardio, you can safely lower your cholesterol and thus promote your health.
Citrus Bergamot can also help you on this journey, which according to studies and blood tests lowers cholesterol. It even works well for users of oral AS, which raises your cholesterol dramatically. Yes, even the absolutely "harmless" Oxandrolone, for many, can send your lipids into a tailspin... Personally, I don't have higher cholesterol, but I do have slightly lower HDL, so I started testing on myself as well. I have baseline cholesterol readings from blood tests and will compare after a month. Citrus Bergamot should also have an effect on raising our "good" HDL cholesterol, which serves a protective function. We'll see. I dose one tablet in the morning and one in the evening on an empty stomach. The dosage especially in the evening is important because Citrus Bergamot acts very much like a statin through inhibition of HMG-CoA reductase (a key enzyme for cholesterol synthesis), which is more active at night.
