New York Pro 2020 moves from May to August!
On May 16th, the New York Pro event was to take place, and many fighters were preparing for it. Among them were for example Hunter Labrada, or a trio of domestic fighters consisting of Pavel Beran, Milan Šádek and Slavoj Bednář.
However, these days the whole world is plagued by the spreading pandemic of Coronavirus COVID-19, so many competitions are postponed or cancelled.
The IFBB Jim Manion Professional League has responded to this situation by deciding to cancel all professional competitions that were scheduled to take place in the United States between March 16 and May 10!
And although the New York Pro was supposed to take place after that date, the organizers decided to move it to a later date.
Considering the fact that New York State is one of the states in the US with the highest incidence of COVID-19, rescheduling this pro competition was a logical step.
The new date for this prestigious competition is August 8, 2020.
