New York Pro 2020 is moving to September!

The prestigious New York Pro competition, which should be in its 42nd year this year, was originally scheduled to take place on May 16. Since January, however, the entire world has been gripped by the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, not excluding the USA.

Meanwhile, New York is one of the most affected American states, so the organizers decided to push the date back to August 8.

However, the date is changing again, to September 5! The IFBB Jim Manion Professional League announced the news last night.

The big unknown at the moment is whether the date of a possible qualifier for this year's Olympia Weekend, which is scheduled to take place from September 9-13, will also be moved. That is set for August 30.

If it is not postponed, the athletes competing at the New York Pro 2020 will be fighting for their place at the 2021 Olympia Weekend!

The whole development of this situation will be very interesting! The big question mark is when the pandemic will start to subside to the point where individual measures will start to be mitigated, and when the carousel of professional competitions will start to spin again. It is possible that the Olympia Weekend will not take place this year !
