National Championships in Functional Fitness - results!
Author: On 15th - 16th June 2019 the Czech Championship in functional fitness took place in Olomouc in Ultimate Fitness Olomouc . If you are not familiar with this sport, check out our article about the Czech Functional Fitness Federation.
The Czech championship included 6 tests in standard characteristics: aerobic capacity, strength, endurance with own weight, skill with own weight, "mix modal" capacity and short-term performance.
The athletes had to qualify for the main race of the 2019 WC via on-line qualification. 13 men, 7 women and 1 team were selected from which3 men, 3 women and one 4-member team (2 men and 2 women) were selected to go to the World Championships in Sweden, which will take place from 30 August to 1 September 2019.

Athletes who qualified for the Czech Republic.: Adam Zůbek, Ondřej Pokorný, Petr Špaček, Tomáš Hejna, Áron Lisý, Michal Merganič, Jan Munzar, Martin Dvořák, David Hladil, Jan Zavadil, Jakub Lysoň, Ondřej Hrabačka and Martin Šebek
The men's category was dominated by Adam Zůbek. The silver medal went to Ondřej Pokorný and the bronzemedal went toPetr Špaček.

Women
Female athletes who competed at the Czech Republic: Katěřina Lízlerová, Petra Vaumndová, Adéla Rybová, Denisa Provazníková, Adriana Machová, Jana Hofbauerová and Monika Tatičková
The best woman in functional fitness this year was Kateřina Lízlerová. The silver medal was won byPetra Vaumundová and the third place went to Adéla Rybová.
