Krzysztof Wierzbicki pulled 502,5kg on deadlift in training!
At the beginning of this May it will be two years since the Icelandic strongman set a new world record in the deadlift with 501kg. Although he made a valid attempt at home under the supervision of official judges, many did not consider the record valid precisely because the record was not broken in a valid competition. Nevertheless, Thor managed to get the record.
But yesterday, 27.4.2022., the Polish triathlete managed to lift 502.5kg and create an unofficial world record. Although he used snatches and chose the sumo variant, which he shouldn't have, he still managed to lift more weight than Thor.
On August 6, 2022 , the organizers of the Giants Live Open 2022 would like to try and challenge the competitors to try and break the record officially. A reward ($55,000) will be given to any strongman who lifts 4kg more than Thor did two years ago. What do you think, will someone like Krzysztof succeed?
In the video below you can see the unofficial record.
