Jan Turek, the hurricane of the Czech pro scene, looks back at Europa Pro 2020
Author: Czech bodybuilder Jan Turek has been one of the leading athletes of the IFBB Elite Pro federation for many years. However, in early October, he left it by triumphing in front of his home crowd at the IFBB Elite Pro Prague 2020 competition, which also featured former Jim Manion's IFBB Professional League pro Vojta Koritenský.
It was to the IFBB Jim Manion Professional League that Honza decided to head. His ticket was to be the NPC Worldwide European Championships 2020 held in Alicante, Spain, which was a qualifying event for the aforementioned league.
On the podium, Honza left behind not only all the fighters in his category of bodybuilding over 102 kilograms, but also all the fighters in the battle for the absolute triumph! This earned him the right to head among the elite.
He used this right the very next day, when the Europa Pro Championships took place in Alicante, where he stood alongside other Czech pros Milan Šádek, Slavoj Bednář and Lukáš Osladil.
As you already know from us, Honza won a great 8th place at the competition and became the second most successful Czech on the podium after Lukáš Osladil, who won the silver medal!
