James Lewis, Zane Watson, Hadi Choopan, Ahmad Ahmad, Dwayne Quamina and Ricardo Correia ahead of Olympia 212 Showdown 2018

James "Flex" Lewis, Zane Watson, Hadi Choopan, Ahmad Ahmad, Dwayne Quamina and Ricardo Correia are among the representatives from the 212-pound division who will take the stage at the 2018 Olympia 212 Showdown on September 14 and 15.

So the above doesn't exactly apply to Iranian bodybuilder Hadi Choopan. He would certainly be one of the strongest challengers to seven-time contest winner James "Flex" Lewis, but his participation on the podium is under one big question mark!

Due to his nationality, he needs a visa to travel to the USA, where the competition is being held. However, the chances of him getting one are very slim, rather unlikely.
However, Hadi is not throwing in the towel, and is preparing himself so that if his visa is granted, he can be an equal opponent to the champion!

The proof is his current form, which he showed during his exhibition in Tehran. During that time, a few photos were taken, which are attached to this article.

Reigning champion James "Flex" Lewis is doing everything he can to make his seventh appearance on the podium of this event, and he's bidding a graceful farewell to the 212-pound class. His form suggests that he will leave no one hanging about the fact that he is the true and only king of the under 212lb category!

Below you can see a photo that captures his wide muscle back pose from the back five weeks before the competition.

About six weeks before the competition, Flex met with Canadian pro Frank McGrath to work on his back muscles after chest and thigh exercises.

A hot contender for the top spot could very well be Canadian Zane Watson.

This year's Toronto Pro Supershow champion will be attending the Olympia Weekend for the second time, and he's looking to fight his way up much higher this year than he did in 2015, when he earned a split 16th place finish.

The attached photos give an idea of what kind of form Zane has 4 weeks before he is due to compete.

American Dwayne Quamina, winner of last year's Europa Phoenix Pro, which took place at the end of last season, is also aiming for the top spot.

Ricardo Correia will be the next Brit on the 212 stage. He earned his participation by triumphing at last year's domestic show EVLS Prague Pro.

4 weeks before the competition he showed his form while posing in the gym.

The only one of the fighters presented today who did not qualify directly, but thanks to the qualification ranking, is the Swedish bodybuilder Ahmad Ahmad.
