James Lewis, Jose Raymond, Shaun Clarida and Mamdouh Al Durrah ahead of Olympia 212 Showdown 2018

James "Flex" Lewis, Jose "The Boston Mass" Raymond, Shaun Clarida and Mamdouh Al Durrah are among those preparing for this year's 2018 Olympia 212 Showdown.

As we all know, James "Flex" Lewis is preparing for his very last appearance at this event as his next steps will be in the OPEN category among the heavyweights.

The goal is to win his seventh title, and say goodbye to this competition on top! And as the attached photo below proves, unless James makes some fatal mistake in his preparation, which is obviously not expected given his qualities, he should be unbeatable again!

Below the photo you will find a video that was made 9 weeks before the Olympia Weekend, and in it "Flex" discusses chest training with Frank McGrath.

Another Olympia 212 Showdown stalwart is Jose "The Boston Mass" Raymond. While he has never been one of the most symmetrical fighters on the stage, on the other hand, he has always been one of the most prepared! Toughness, separation, vascularity, veininess, he was able to outdo all of his opponents with all of that. And the same is expected of him this year.

There are even rumours behind the scenes that this will be Jose's last ever competitive start! He hasn't confirmed or denied whether this will be the case. So let's wait.

Below you can watch a video that was taken 7 weeks before the competition, and captured Raymond during a deltoid muscle training session.

For the fourth consecutive year, Shaun Clarida will also be competing in this most prestigious event in the under 212lb division.

The less than 80-pounder earned his participation at the 2018 New York Pro, where he dominated the 212-pound division.

Below you can judge his form as well, 5.5 weeks before putting on his competition swimsuit.

Next to appear at the Olympia Weekend will be Mahmoud Al Durrah, who only joined Jim Minion's IFBB Professional League earlier this year.

He made his debut at the 2018 New York Pro, where he finished fourth. His next start was the Vancouver Pro 2018 which he dominated, securing his direct qualification to the Olympia 212 Showdown 2018.

You can see what kind of form he has 5,5 weeks before the top event of this season in the attached photo.
