"I may not make it through my next surgery" - Flex Wheeler

Flex Wheeler is one of bodybuilding's greatest legends who has been dealing with health issues for the past few years. Three years ago, he even had to undergo a leg amputation. The main cause was thought to be arterial calcification. According to some information, which was also confirmed by another bodybuilding great and Flex's great friend Shawn Ray, Flex's blood vessels were breaking down and he was suffering from unbearable pain. During the past year, Wheeler was struck with covid, for which he even had to be hospitalized, and his health did not look good at all.

Fortunately, Wheeler recovered and was discharged from the hospital.

In a three-minute video on Instagram, Flex Wheeler gave an update on his health and revealed everything he's going through.

At the beginning of the video, Flex Wheeler revealed that he had to undergo rotator cuff surgery last Thursday... The 66-year-old former bodybuilder said that he will have to undergo another procedure and explained the severity of the situation.

"I'm going to have major back surgery and it's going to be pretty intense. They're not even sure if I can handle the surgery or the recovery. But it's something I have to do because I can't take the pain anymore," Flex Wheeler said.

Flex Wheeler has battled a number of serious health issues over the years, al each time he has been able to recover. Therefore, we will hope that the subsequent back surgery will end well for Wheeler.
