Here we go again, gyms in the Czech Republic are closing!

As of Wednesday, 5335 people were registered positive for the Covid-19 coronavirus in the Czech Republic. This record increase in the number of patients has prompted the Minister of Health, Roman Prymula, to take the crucial decision to tighten the existing measures!
These were approved and subsequently announced this morning, and will come into force tomorrow, Friday 9 October!

Unfortunately, as in March, they will affect all gyms and fitness centres in the Czech Republic!

For at least the next 14 days it is prohibited:

  • The operation and use of indoor sports facilities (e.g. gymnasiums, playgrounds, ice rinks, courts, rings, bowling or billiard rooms, training facilities) and indoor areas of outdoor sports facilities, gyms and fitness centres, with the exception of PE at the first level of primary education in primary schools and kindergartens
  • Operation and use of artificial swimming pools (swimming pool, bathing pool, infant and toddler pool, paddling pool), wellness facilities including saunas, solariums and salt caves
