Urs Kalecinsky is one of the best that the current professional Classic Physique scene has to offer! This is evidenced by the fact that Urs managed to fight his way to a very respectable 3rd place at the Classic Physique Olympia last year, thus securing direct qualification for this year's event.

Although he would not be able to stand on the competition podium again until the fall, he did so at the very beginning of this season when he decided to compete in the second most prestigious competition, which is the Arnold Classic. Here, as he did at the aforementioned Olympia, he finished 3rd.

It has been speculated for some time that five-time Olympia Classic Physique winner Chris Bumstead will soon end his competitive career. These speculations were reinforced by Chris himself, when he said in an interview that bodybuilding takes a lot out of him and that his biggest goal in life is to be a good father.

If Chris quits the competition scene, Urs Kalecinsky may well be the one to replace him on the throne.

Urs himself is aware of this fact, so he is taking advice wherever he can. He recently trained alongside one of the best bodybuilders in history, Jay Cutler, four-time Mr. Olympia! And it didn't just stop at training! Urs even got a chance to pose under Jay's supervision! What's more, Jay showed that it's just still there when they both did one of the poses together.
