Urs Kalecinski now weighs nearly 134 kg! He's preparing for a spectacular comeback and has revealed his future plans!

The former Classic Physique star is gradually turning into a true beast! German bodybuilder Urs Kalecinski continues to gain muscle mass, and his current weight is already around an incredible 134 kilograms. After taking a break from competition this year, he has finally spoken about his future plans. Two prestigious competitions are on the horizon, along with his long-awaited return to Mr. Olympia 2027!

From Classic Physique to the world’s heaviest bodybuilders!

Urs Kalecinski is one of the most intriguing names in professional bodybuilding today. Just a few years ago, he was competing for the top spots in the Classic Physique category, where he made a name for himself with his aesthetics, definition, and flawless presentation. In 2025, however, he made a pivotal decision. He left the Classic Physique category and moved up to the Men’s Open—a division of true giants—where there is no weight limit.

And his start was nothing short of a fairy tale! In his debut at ProMuscle Italy Pro 2025, he managed to win and defeat experienced competitors, including Quinton Eriya, Marc Hector, and Sergio Oliva Jr. Just a week later, he also dominated the Europa Pro Championships, confirming that his move to the heavyweight division was definitely not a misstep. Although he finished in thirteenth place at Mr. Olympia 2025, he showed that he can compete with professionals who have been competing in the open division for much longer.

Nearly 134 kilograms! And he’s still not satisfied!

In a recent interview with Beyond the Stage TV, Kalecinski surprised fans with details about his current body weight. The German bodybuilder revealed that he weighs approximately 295 pounds, which is nearly 134 kilograms!

However, his goal isn’t simply to mindlessly gain more kilograms. In his own words, the overall appearance of his physique and the ability to make the best possible impression on the competition stage are much more important.

“I currently weigh around 295 pounds. But weight alone isn’t everything. It’s about the illusion we can create,” Kalecinski explained.

He continues to work with his longtime coach, Stefan Kienzl, with whom he has been a team for about eight years.

Together, they aim to present the best version of the German bodybuilder yet in 2027. Kalecinski also realizes that the transition to the Men’s Open requires time and patience. Unlike the Classic Physique category, he must compete against bodybuilders with truly extreme muscle mass.

Pittsburgh Pro and New York Pro? Kalecinski Reveals His Plans!

However, fans were most interested in when their favorite would return to the competition stage. Kalecinski originally planned to compete as early as 2026, but health complications forced him to change his plans and focus on recovery. Now, in his own words, he feels better and is slowly starting to look ahead to the next competition season. Two prestigious American competitions are primarily in the running—the Pittsburgh Pro and the New York Pro 2027!

He has singled out these competitions as among the events where he would like to compete in the future. He also noted that in recent years, his competition schedule has revolved primarily around the Arnold Classic and Mr. Olympia. This time, however, he’d like to try his hand at other prestigious competitions as well. His goal is to compete in a professional contest sometime in 2027 and qualify for Mr. Olympia.

However, his participation in either the Pittsburgh Pro or the New York Pro has not yet been officially confirmed. Kalecinski spoke of both competitions as possible options for his return.

Could he one day become Mr. Olympia?

Although Kalecinski isn’t yet competing for medal positions at the Olympia among the top Men’s Open competitors, many bodybuilding legends see enormous potential in him. Former professional bodybuilder Shawn Ray, for example, pointed out that the German competitor needs, above all, to gain more high-quality muscle mass. If he succeeds in doing so while maintaining his strengths, Ray believes he could even contend for a spot in the top six at Mr. Olympia in the future.

Kalecinski himself, however, remains grounded. He admits that winning bodybuilding’s most famous trophy is a long-term goal, but he also knows full well that the transition to a new category cannot be rushed.

“I’m a realist. I chose the Open division, and I know it takes time,” he explained.

Moreover, his experience from previous competitions shows that muscle mass alone isn’t the only criterion for success. Proportions, hardness, symmetry, and the overall presentation of the physique also play an important role. Aesthetics and posing ability have long been among Kalecinski’s greatest strengths.

The year 2027 could be a turning point for Kalecinski!

After health complications and a lengthy break from competition, Urs Kalecinski is entering another important chapter in his career. His weight has already reached levels that, just a few years ago, he could hardly have afforded in Classic Physique. The question, however, remains: how much of the mass he’s gained will he be able to translate into truly high-quality competition form?

If he manages to combine his new muscle mass with the aesthetics that made him famous, his return in 2027 could be truly exciting!

Whether he ultimately competes at the Pittsburgh Pro, the New York Pro, or chooses another competition, one thing is certain: Fans will be curious to see what the nearly 134-kilogram “Miracle Bear” will look like when he steps back into the competition spotlight!
