Michal Križánek conquered Prague once again and secured his spot at Olympia! Results of the 2026 EVLS Prague Pro
The Men’s Open category was undoubtedly the most anticipated event on the program at this year’s EVLS Prague Pro. And for the home fans, it turned out even better than expected—the top four spots were taken exclusively by representatives of the Slovak and Czech bodybuilding schools.
Michal “Križo” Križánek arrived in Prague’s Letňany as the clear favorite on paper and fully lived up to that role. The Slovak phenomenon needed to redeem himself after last year’s competition, where he finished in third place behind Martin Fitzwater. This year, he left no room for doubt. Just two weeks after his outstanding sixth-place finish at Mr. Olympia 2026, he showcased full, hard, and monstrous muscles in Prague. For first place, he took home a check for an impressive $30,000 and, most importantly, direct qualification for Mr. Olympia 2027. He thus added another triumph to his victory at this year’s Pittsburgh Pro and his silver medal at the New York Pro.
But Czech competitor Pavel Beran also made history. He is inextricably linked to the Prague competition—he has been competing at the EVLS for eight long years. All those years of hard work and perseverance paid off this year with the best finish of his career. He earned a fantastic second-place finish and proved that he has what it takes to compete with the world’s best.
Josef Květon took third place, having shown incredible progress. While he had to settle for tenth place at the EVLS in 2025, this year—thanks to his significantly improved form—he shot straight to the bronze medal.
Veteran Jan Turek rounded out the Czech dominance at the top of the standings with a fourth-place finish. For him, this is a huge source of satisfaction after a challenging season. Since August, he had competed in three professional competitions, finishing no higher than twelfth in any of them. In Prague, however, he managed to fine-tune his form to perfection, and a fourth-place finish is a fantastic result for him given the highly competitive field.

To tackle the most brutal workouts and constantly push your limits on your journey toward the kind of muscle mass worthy of the EVLS stage, your gear must include top-quality creatine monohydrate, which provides your muscles with the ATP energy they need for the heaviest reps. For immediate repair of damaged muscle fibers after heavy squats and presses, a fast-absorbing whey protein is absolutely essential. Don’t forget about your musculoskeletal system either—lifting extreme weights takes its toll, so be sure to include comprehensive joint nutrition in your daily routine as a preventive measure.
