Poland Pro: Květon in TOP 10!

Sunday's final in Warsaw confirmed the balance of power that was already clearly visible after the crucial semi-final on Saturday. It was on Saturday, during the so-called prejudging, that the most important comparative "battles" took place, which decided the fate of most of the competitors.

Both Josef Květoň and Jan Turek were called to the second callout by the judges. This classification is crucial in professional competitions - it almost immediately defines the competitors into a group fighting for a position just behind the absolute top, most often in the range of 6th to 10th place. It meant that both our riders brought form that was too good to finish in the losers' field, but at the same time this time they were slightly behind the five fighting for medals in the first call-up.

Sunday's final itself is then mainly a show for the spectators and an official confirmation of the results. Both Czech representatives got a chance to show off their elaborate free routines, which are the highlight of their stage presentation.

In the final result Květoň took eighth place and Turek eleventh.

Although this time it was not enough to attack the qualification for Mr. Olympia, they both left Poland with honour. In the strong European competition they confirmed that they are steadily among the elite, which is always a valuable result on the professional scene. For both of them it is above all an important confirmation that their training is going in the right direction and that they are a force to be reckoned with on the European stage.
