Josef Květoň and Honza Turek are racing in Poland! How are they doing?

Huge attention of all Czech bodybuilding fans is heading to Warsaw, Poland today. On the stage of the prestigious professional competition Everest Muscle Stars Poland Pro, two of our elite representatives Josef Květoň and Honza Turek presented themselves in the royal and most watched Men's Open Bodybuilding category.

And right from the key prejudging, in which positions are "broken", comes great news!

The competition was, as is usual at European professional events, extremely strong. All the more pleasing that none of our fighters was lost in the packed starting field. On the contrary!

What happened?

After the initial comparisons, the judges started to form groups of competitors into so-called "callouts" to compare them in more detail.

Both Czech lions, Josef Květoň and Honza Turek, were called to the second callout!

Why is this a great result?

In professional bodybuilding, a simple rule applies:

• First Callout.
• Second Callout.

To break into the second callout at a professional competition in the Open category is a clear signal that the competitor has brought top form, is fully competitive and belongs to the wider European (and world) top.

Although it almost certainly means that they will not be in the fight for medals and qualification for the Olympics this time, both our representatives confirmed their qualities and clearly showed that they belong at this level. This is a fantastic card for the Czech battalion!

We are now taking a break before the final part, where we will know the final verdict and the exact placement. The tension is at its peak, but it is already certain that both boys deserve huge congratulations.
