Oil in his biceps has driven him to another surgery, amputation is at stake!
Kirill Tereshin craved fame and monstrous biceps that would ensure his admiration. But instead of years in the gym, he chose a dangerous shortcut - injections of synthol and Vaseline directly into his arms. This fateful decision turned his dream into a nightmare of pain and surgery. Now, in June 2025, he has undergone another procedure and still hasn't won.

A dream of muscle that turned into a disaster
It all started about eight years ago, when Kirill, then 20, a former soldier, decided to make a name for himself at any cost. His goal was huge arms in the mould of Popeye the Sailor. He began injecting his biceps with a dangerous cocktail of substances, most commonly referred to as synthol, which caused massive swelling. The result was bulky to look at, but the muscle mass was not. It was a time bomb.
The dangerous substance began to cause inflammation in his body and the tissue in his arms gradually began to die. Hard, petrified chunks of dead muscle and vaseline formed.
Brutal reality: the ring and the operating theatre
Despite warnings from doctors and apparent health issues, Tereshin decided to test his "strength" in the MMA ring in 2019. However, he lasted just three minutes against professional wrestler Oleg Mongol before he was forced to give up. It turned out that his arms were just a dysfunctional and painful burden.
This loss was just the beginning of the real fight - the fight to save his limbs. Back in 2019, he underwent his first major surgery, in which doctors removed nearly 1.5 kilograms of dead tissue from his left arm. In 2021, another challenging procedure followed under the guidance of surgeon Dmitry Melnikov.
June 2025: The fight continues
Now, twenty-eight-year-old Tereshin has undergone another operation at a Russian military hospital. Doctors again removed more hardened and dangerous pieces from his biceps. Today, Kirill himself bitterly regrets his decision, but tries to stay positive. He says he is on the road to recovery.
Plastic surgeons, however, remain skeptical and warn that the worst-case scenario - amputation of both arms - is still in play. No one knows how many more surgeries he will have to undergo, or whether the effects of his youthful indiscretion can be completely reversed.
His story is a chilling warning to all those seeking dangerous shortcuts on the road to their dream look.
