Of the weaknesses of the strengths? See how Samson has improved his back for the upcoming Arnold!
The last few days are left until one of the most prestigious competitions of the bodybuilding season and many fans are no doubt already waiting to see what form the athletes will show. Among the main favourites in the heavyweight category is Samson Dauda, who as the defending bronze medallist from the last Olympia will definitely not be idle. In a recent video from his training, the likable athlete talked in detail about his future plans and how he is slowly but surely building his weakness into a strength.
Already last year, Samson showed great form by paying attention not only to muscle volume, but also to individual detail and muscle separation. One of the few weaknesses of this athlete, however, was undoubtedly his back, which was pointed out by many of his fellow athletes, including former Arnold Classic winner Nick Walker, but he won't be competing at the New York PRO this year due to health issues.
When asked about his progress in training during a recent interview, he replied confidently:
"A few weeks ago you saw me posing from behind standing up. And basically when we do conditioning now, I don't even bother looking at the front because I already know that the front gets in shape much faster than the back. So now when we do it, we always check the back first. That's where our judgement is concentrated."

Earlier, Dauda also talked about the fact that he has to curb his cravings quite significantly in order to maintain a strict and balanced diet, which he obviously needs in preparation for the races. It's no wonder, therefore, that many bodybuilders of past decades consider him a future champion who will not only offer a great physique, but also be an inspiration to thousands of people around the world.
"As I said before. You're only as good as your weakest part, so that's why all the attention is on that back. I believe if we can improve it, everything will go with it,"
added a confident Samson, who will obviously be under immense pressure ahead of Arnold. We will see how he handles it at the Arnold Sports Festival, which takes place in Columbus, USA, from February 29 to March 3. Hadi Choopan, Marcello de Angelis and James Hollingshead will be competing against him. You can see the forms of all 11 athletes in our separate article.
