Nick Walker 5 weeks before his fight with Michal Krizanek at New York Pro 2025

On May 10 and 11, four and a half weeks from now, the next edition of the New York Pro will take place in Pittsburgh. It wouldn't be so special if this year, for the first time in the history of the event, the stage wasn't also open to professionals from the OPEN category!

This opportunity will not be missed by a number of representatives of heavyweights, among which will be also the Slovak colossus Michal "Križo" Križánek. Others who have announced their participation in this event are Derek Lunsford, Nick Walker, and Vitaly Ugolnikov, who just last weekend dominated the Arnold Classic Brazil 2025.

As for the pair of Derek Lunsford and Nick Walker, they both know each other very well not only in private but also in their competitive battles. The biggest one so far was at Mr. Olympia 2022.

Back then, although neither of them could reach the title that was snatched from them by Hadi Choopan, but second place for Derek and third place for Nick were, of course, no bad results.

While Nick hasn't shown up at Olympia since, Derek came to claim the title in 2023, which he lost again at last year's edition, and had to settle for third place.

But back to the Pittsburgh Pro. Let's see Nick Walker's form, about five weeks before he put on his competition swimsuit, when his weight showed some 126 kilograms.
His goal is to try to win, and thus secure his spot in this year's Mr. Olympia. To achieve it, given the names of his opponents written above, will certainly not be easy!
