Michal "Križo" Križánek and Pavel Beran review Pittsburgh Pro 2025

The first year of the Pittsburgh Pro competition for the representatives of the OPEN division is already in the past, but there are still various speculations in bodybuilding circles about how and why it should or should not have turned out.

As we know, the victory went to Derek Lunsford, who defeated Nick Walker. But was this victory justified? Recently, seven-time Mr. Olympia titleholder Phil Heath, for example, has published his opinion not only on this fight between two giants, but also on the judges' decision.

And a few days ago, Michal "Križo" Križánek and Pavel Beran, the direct participants of the competition, who certainly have the best overview of what it looked like on stage, because they were standing side by side next to these two giants.

Pavel, for example, said that he was glad for Derek's victory, i.e. the preference for aesthetics, as the winner sets the trend for the future. In the same breath, however, he added that as a judge, he would have clearly awarded the win to Wolker, who dominated in preparedness, hardness, quality and muscle size.

The same opinion was shared by "Križo". After all, you can listen to it in the EVLS podcast, which we attach below.
