Karina Goncalves, Alexsandra Santos and And Halanna have withdrawn from this year's Olympia! Neither got a visa to the US...

Three more athletes have been denied visas to enter the USA ahead of the anticipated Olympia 2023 competition! Every year, athletes from all over the world face the hellish task of obtaining the proper documentation needed to cross international borders into the USA. This year, several competitors opted out of the Olympia due to not receiving visas, even though the IFBB Pro League came out with a statement regarding their ability to provide support in this matter...

Earlier this week we informed you that even big name competitors like Nathan De Asha in the Men's Open category were denied entry into the US. After his recent wins at the Flex Weekend Pro 2023 and Sheru Classic France Pro 2023, fans were excited to see him in a rematch against Regan Grimes. However, upon entering the US, De Ash was denied a visa and deported...

However, another who cannot compete at Olympia due to a visa is Women's Physique champion Karina Goncalves, who won the 2023 Europa Pro in her division. Then there's Brazilian competitor Alexsandra Santos, who won gold at the 2023 Rio Pro in the Bikini Fitness category. Then there's even Halanna Jully, who was the winner at the 2023 MuscleContest Excalibur Pro in the Bikini Fitness category. She made an emotional statement that she too will not be participating in the 2023 Olympia competition because she too was denied entry to the U.S.

It's a shame that many talented male and female competitors are unable to attend Olympia after working so hard, which is just the dream of all competitors.
