Josef Květoň and his current form one week before New York PRO 2023

Already on 20.5.2023 one of the most prestigious competitions in the USA will take place and that is the New York PRO 2023, where Czech fighters like Josef Květoň and Slavoj Bednář will be on the boards. They will be able to compare themselves with Brent Swansen, Nathan Spears and Mike Hulusi and many others. For Pepa this will be the second professional race where he will be able to show himself to the world. On his first debut among the pros, he captured a beautiful fourth place at the Arnold Classic Brasil and now he and his coach Tomas Bures are flying with even more determination to fight for the top spots.

Before the race in Brasilia Pepa had intestinal problems and maybe that was the reason why he was so sharp and chipped to dust. Of course, he didn't miss the volume among the fighters at all, he just admitted himself that he needs to improve his NY PRO posing. He's now a week into the race and form is climbing nicely although it doesn't look like much from his perspective. I'll share with you our conversation from today, where you can see for yourself that the diet is taking its toll on Pep...

So how's it going, buddy? Everything okay so far?

I'll be glad if I pack my bags for the trip tomorrow, I'm really on a roll. I'm not answering my phone and I don't want to talk to anyone.

Is it worse than before Brazil, you're going all out? So the form will be better, right?

I don't like the form either, but I guess that's the way it's supposed to be. I was sharper before Brazil, but I think it was the intestinal problems, I had a lot of water.

I think you're seeing yourself in the worst light, send me an update.

I'm currently 124 kg, so I'm 3.5 kg heavier than before Arnold.

Then Josef Adl, the best photographer in the bodybuilding industry in the Czech Republic, who had the opportunity to work with bodybuilding legends, and my little Radim Koudelka for the Kulturistika.com team, to map the whole journey and give you the latest information, so follow it here, but also on our Instagram!
