"I'm training harder than ever!" Tyler Brey prepares for next year's Wheelchair Olympia

During last year's Olympia, the fifth Wheelchair Olympia was held, where wheelchair racers presented their form. Although this division goes on the back burner behind the main Olympia categories, it is clear that these indomitable competitors are the right amount of motivation for all competitors around the world.

Last year's Wheelchair Olympia saw a record dozen competitors take part, with fourteen competitors securing the opportunity to compete at the Olympia during the qualifying period, but Karol Milewski and Nick Hewitt were unable to complete their preparations and so did not take part.

One of the participants of Wheelchair Olympia 2022 was Tyler Brey, who is also preparing for this year's event, where he will certainly want to improve on his last year's result, when he took seventh place. Commenting on his preparation, Tyler recently wrote on his social media:

I have 6 months to beat my last year's version. I'm training harder than ever! That's why I strive for optimal recovery by sipping essential amino acids between each set to help me recover after training. The faster I recover, the sooner I can train the muscle hard again.
