Edgard John-Augustin to appear at New York Pro 2023 this weekend

In 2017, Edgard John-Augustin, who lost both legs below the knees at just four years old, joined the pros in the open. So, even though Edgard has a handicap, he decided to play in the men's open without a handicap... In the following years, however, Edgard moved into the classic physique division, which suited him much better than the open category. But in 2020, Edgard had to put the swimsuit on hold as he underwent shoulder surgery. And for a long time it looked like we wouldn't see this competitor on the podium again.

However, Augustin announced a comeback this year as he showed up at the Pittsburgh Pro 2023 last weekend.

Now this very inspiring guy is heading to the New York Pro 2023, where among others Slavoj Bednar and Josef Květoň will compete in the open division. In the photos below you can see Edgard's current forum.
