Derek Lunsford has begun his preparations for the Mr. Olympia title!

Thirty-year-old professional bodybuilder Derek Lunsford, who became the biggest surprise of last year's Mr. Olympia competition when he managed to win a great second place in his debut, has just started his preparation for this year's edition of this spectacular show.

The goal is by no means small. After last year's success, he would like to move up one place, which means only one thing, and that is to win the title of Mr. Olympia! Derek is also the king of the 212lb division, having walked off the stage as the winner of the 212 Olympia 2021.

It is Derek, along with Hadi Choopan, who will defend his victory last year, and Samson Dauda, who this year managed to dominate the second most prestigious competition Arnold Classic, will be among the strongest favourites for this title.

The first one was made during his chest training, at the end of which he will also have a form check, and the second one comes from his current stay in Spain, where he had a joint arm training with local professional bodybuilder Joan Pradells, who made his professional debut at the recent Empro Classic 2023, which, as we already know very well, was dominated by Slovakian giant Michal Križánek.
