Czech team for New York PRO 2023 | Josef Květona's current form

We have mapped out the Czech team's journey to New York PRO 2023, where Josef Květoň will compete with the world's top bodybuilders. This is Pepa's second professional competition, so he has brought his coach Tomáš Bures as a support, also the best Czech bodybuilding photographer Josef Adlt, who will take the best photos for him, another member is Vít'a Janda, Pepa's friend who owns Hardcore Gym, where Pepa trains in the off-season and of course we must not forget me, Radim Koudelka. I'm here to document everything for you and report the hottest information.

We flew to the USA from Prague on a direct flight that took over 8 hours, but since we are in a great line-up, it went by very quickly.

Upon arrival we had arranged a large car to travel around New York with our practice bags, we were expecting some kind of multivan, but for a quite reasonable price they rented us a beautiful Mercedes GLS for five days, where we could fit beautifully with Pep's Adlts gear for the photo shoot. Since we flew into JFK airport and we live in New Jersey more specifically in Englewood, we took it on the way to the Brooklyn Bridge where we wanted to get some first photos right away. There we replenished our power and started the harrowing clogged road all the way to New Jersey.

After arriving at the accommodation, which is really huge, we divided the rooms and late in the evening we went shopping, as Pepa needed to finish his carbohydrates to meet the 1000g order from Tomáš Bures. We are staying in a huge old house in a quiet part of Englewood, where we have a shopping mall just 5 minutes away. I don't have much material from the progress of the trip as it was really long, chaotic and most importantly we needed to get things done for the next few days. However, the next days will be much more fun! We're going to have a pose check at New York's most famous gym, Bevs Gym, where NPC head judge Steve Weinberger will be checking out Pepa and we'll also get a workout in there, so stay tuned as this is just a taste of what's to come! On 5/19/2023 we have our first spray in the evening and then the press conference and then D-Day, which you can experience with us this Saturday, 5/20/2023!

For now, I will say goodbye and as soon as we experience something else here I will write it up for you and at the same time I will make a video blog of all these days, which will always come out with a day of delay, as the time lag is known and I am writing it all up here in the evening.
