Confessions of Pavel Beran

Czech bodybuilder Pavel Beran, who has been an inseparable face of Czech Virus for many years, comes to us with his confession.

Pavel became a professional of Jim Manion's IFBB Professional League in 2016, when, as a junior, he managed to dominate the EVLS Prague Showdown.

However, it wasn't an entirely smooth journey. Pavel competed in Prague twice, both among juniors, where he was undefeated, and then among men over 100 kg, where he finished second. The winner was the German Adolf Burghardt, but he was later disqualified and his position was taken over by Pavel, who could join the fight for the absolute victory. He dominated this fight and rightfully took the IFBB PRO status!

After earning his dream pro card, two years of volume training followed to make Pavel competitive with the greatest of the greatest. He made his professional debut in front of his home crowd again at the EVLS Prague Pro 2018, where he finished a very nice fourth place, beating only the trio of Roelly Winklaar, Nathan De Asha and Lukáš Osladil.

Although Pavel has already had several competitive starts, he has not achieved a better result than the one he won on his debut. But this has never stopped him, and he continues to pursue his dream, which is to stand at least once among the absolute top of the world bodybuilding on the podium of the Mr. Olympia competition!
