Chris Bumstead tries Tom Platz-style squats

Although the Classic Physique Olympia division is only seven years old, it is becoming one of the most popular divisions at the world's largest fitness sports competition. This division excels in aesthetics, symmetry and conditioning inspired by the golden era.

During last year's Olympia, everyone was eagerly waiting to see if Chris Bumstead could win another Classic Physique Olympia, which he has managed to dominate 3 times already. Although just before the competition Samir Bannout hinted that Chris could be beaten by Ramon Queiroz, it didn't happen and Chris once again won this beautiful division to claim his 4th Olympia title.

In a recent post on his Instagram, Chris shared the news that he's been trying out squats on the flat according to the legend Tom Platz.
