Career according to Nick Walker: Mutant wants to win five Olympia's and four Arnolds! Who is he afraid of?

Having a clearly defined plan and vision is the foundation for success in any sport, bodybuilding included. Both recreational gym-goers and top athletes have their goals. However, elite bodybuilder Nick Walker, who is currently one of the top competitors in his category, also boasted about his ideal career development in a recent YouTube video. And in addition to his ambitious plans for the future, he also pointed to his biggest rival and revealed who he thinks is the best bodybuilder of all time.

Nick Walker is not only one of the best, but also one of the most watched bodybuilders of today. And although he was in great shape last year, a nasty injury meant that he didn't make it to Mr. Olympia 2023 and unfortunately couldn't compete against other top competitors. However, back in January, he announced that he plans to earn his qualification for this year's event at the upcoming New York PRO, which will take place on May 18.

Therefore, in a recent YouTube video, he revealed what he envisions for the future of his career. Although he has not yet achieved the title of the most prestigious bodybuilding competition, he stressed that he is improving with each competition.

"I always said I wanted to win ten of them. But of course I'm getting older and if I had to give a realistic estimate, I would say that starting in 2024 I will win five Olympia and four Arnolds. That's a solid number that I think I could do. And yet there isn't a single thing I said I would do that I didn't end up doing. Well, other than winning the Olympia. I may not have won the Olympia yet, but name me one show I haven't improved on."

At the same time, he also pointed to some of his rivals, because of course Mutant knows that no one is going to give him the Mr. Olympia title for free.

"The number one threat to me is Snakes. Sure, Derek Lunsford will always be a threat because he just won Olympia, but I saw Hadi at the Arnold Classic in Ohio and if he looked like that at Olympia, I think he would have won."

He also revealed who he considers to be the best bodybuilder of all time in an interview lasting more than an hour. And as expected, it was of course Jay Cutler.

"Jay Cutler. For many reasons. First of all, I think he and I are very similar in terms of mentality. And also our bodies are very similar to some extent, especially in terms of the broad waistline. And also, in my opinion, he has achieved in bodybuilding what not many people are able to do. He's done everything."

The entire interview is over an hour long and if you have time to spare, it's definitely worth a listen.
