Blessing Awodibu will wear a competition swimsuit again in the spring!
Blessing Awodibu, a professional bodybuilder with Nigerian roots, returns to the competition stage after missing last year's competition season. This is the first time in the history of this competition that the OPEN category will also be contested here, and this opportunity will not be missed by many well-known and successful bodybuilders.
One of them will be Blessing Awodibu, who had his best competition season to date in 2022, when he managed to dominate two competitions, the Indy Pro and the New York Pro.
His victories, of course, secured him qualification for the 2022 Mr. Olympia, but he did not fare well there and had to settle for a 16th place finish.
Even in the following season, 2023, the famous funnyman, who entertained the world with his YouTube videos, failed to build on his previous successes and decided to take a longer break from competing and concentrate on improving his body to the point where no major setback would happen again.
After last year's missed season, they are back in action. But it won't be easy. Nick Walker, the bronze medallist from the Olympia mentioned above, as well as William Bonac, James Hollingshead and Martin Fitzwater, who, like Awodibu, belong to the team of one of the most sought-after coaches of the present day Stefan Kienzl, have promised their participation.
Below we bring you some photos that capture Blessing's current form, which he shows off some 14 weeks before donning his competition swimwear.
