"Again, it's not to my liking," Honza Turek assesses his performance at Europa Pro 2023.

Last weekend, another professional race under the banner of NPC - Europa Pro 2023 took place in Alicante, Spain. 23 competitors from the Czech Republic took part in the open category. And who were they? Honza Turek!

He took eighth place in a tough competition and commented on the race on his Instagram as follows:

8th again in Spain. 8th place out of 23 competitors. Again, not to my liking, but the competition is really unexpectedly brutal this year at European races. The bigger problem for me is keeping my form long into the evening. In the heat that is here this year and the amount of competitors in all categories is huge as it was in Italy. The races are then long and I struggle to maintain 100% form throughout the day. However, the conditions are the same for everyone and it is purely my problem to solve for the next similar races.

The next LEGION PRO races in Nevada in 3 weeks will be something else again in terms of getting the final form due to the time delay and in terms of the composition of the starting field. So we have to fine tune the details with @tomasburesifbbproofficial and tighten up the form to the best. I know that the form will continue to build with each race and I will bring you the best of me again in 9 weeks at @evls_prague_pro_official.
